How can I reset 2-step verification on my account?

To disable and reset 2-step verification on your Anchor account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://dashboard.tryanchor.com/login
  2. Provide your email address and password
  3. When prompted for 2-step verification, enter an incorrect code
  4. You will see a link at the bottom "Lost 2FA Device?"

After you click this link, you will be taken to the tool that allows you to reset 2-step.

If this doesn't work

We will need to disable your 2-step verification manually. In order to verify your identity, you will need to send us one (1) single clear photo of yourself (a selfie) holding the following:

  1. Your government-issued ID card (state ID, driver's license, or passport only). Make sure the ID is legible in the photo.
  2. A note that reads "Only for resetting 2-step/PIN on Anchor”. The note must be signed and dated.
